Robel and I met while working at a restaurant in Washington, D.C. He approached me during the morning shift asking if I’d be interested in modeling for his homework assignment. After some serious convincing, I shyly said yes. We spent that time together giggling, taking pictures, and chatting about all the D.C. drama.
It was an absolute privilege to be Robel’s muse. I’m proud of myself for stepping outside my conform zone to help a co-worker. Never did I imagine the experience would lead to a friendship. Robel still pushes me to find those hidden corners of creativity in my mind. Our relationship has only blossomed since that beginning adventure on the streets of Shaw.
